We are excited to introduce to you our first indoor/outdoor licensed furniture collection, The Provenance Signature Collection by Laura Muller for Seasonal Living®, designed for us by internationally acclaimed, award winning interior designer, Laura Muller, founder and co-principal of Los Angeles based, Four Point Design Build.
Inspired by Laura Muller’s core belief that nature induces healing and peace of mind inspires wellness, this collection has been responsibly designed so we can offer our customers a timeless indoor/outdoor furniture collection that will last for generations.

Laura’s designs for her Provenance Signature Collection by Laura Muller for Seasonal Living® had their beginnings in the deep peace she felt as a very young girl when she was building sandcastles together with her father on the California coastline.
At that time she couldn’t put into words what she felt, but it started her on a lifelong quest to live a life centered in simplicity and in harmony with nature’s natural rhythms.
The collage below are images Laura took, or that her husband took, on a recent coastal vacation.
Later, when Laura started her interior design/build firm, the scientific research that had since been done into how wellness principles inform the comfort and peace of mind felt by people in their homes and offices informed her design aesthetic and process and still do to this day.
Below are two images from her extensive design/build portfolio that reflect her love of neutral colors and clean, fresh, modern design.
Laura’s core values, both personally and professionally, combined with our long standing practice of supporting small to medium sized artisanal producers and responsible production methods, form the provenance of this exciting, new licensed indoor/outdoor furniture collection.
A side note: as many of you know, we’ve invested heavily over the past 3 years in supporting interior designers through featuring interior designers in Seasonal Living Magazine and through the investment we made in Seasonal Living Magazine’s Luxury Virtual Designer Showhouse collaboration.
We are thrilled to now be carrying our commitment to interior designers one step further via the Provenance Signature Collection by Laura Muller for Seasonal Living® – our first licensed collection with a professional working interior designer.
We hope, if it’s successful, to be able to do more collections with additional interior designers in the future.
FRP HANDCRAFTED CERAMICS OUTDOOR WICKER
We first met Laura Muller when she visited our permanent showroom at World Market Center Las Vegas as part of their *View on Vegas* influencer marketing program. This is a program where nationally known interior designer/influencers are selected to tour exhibitor showrooms and *spot* their favorite products.
Laura, who had never been to one of our showrooms before this, came in – with her husband and business partner, Cliff – and started asking us intelligent, probing questions focused on our production methods, materials and brand values.
She then *spotted* our TORRES STRAIT chair from our ARCHIPELAGO collection, as you can see her enjoying below.

After this visit, she started specifying our products in her own interior and exterior design work and we began to follow her on Instagram, where we came to appreciate her signature clean, fresh, modern design aesthetic and recognized how it dovetailed with our own brand.
Later, we contacted her to ask her if she would be interested in working with us on our first licensed indoor/outdoor furniture collection with an interior designer.
She readily accepted the invitation – and the challenge – and now, 15 months and many iterations later, we are excited to be introducing The Provenance Signature Collection by Laura Muller for Seasonal Living® at this June’s High Point Market in our exhibitor space, Interhall – 506.
Laura has also designed our #HPMKT showroom space for us this market, and we hope to see many of you there.
THE MATERIAL PALETTES
Laura’s core collection, embracing the sensuous curves and bold forms found in nature, has been designed around 3 material palettes. Each of these material palettes has been intentionally designed to flow seamlessly together with the other indoor/outdoor material palettes we already offer in our other collections.
These include sustainably managed FSC compliant eucalyptus wood and polypropylene rope, beautifully hand colored and indestructible volcanic stone, hand hammered copper metal, reclaimed teak and lightweight concrete with a venetian plaster like finish that’s smooth and silky to the touch.
In the image of the material palettes we offer in our other collections, shown below, we’ve also included an indoor/outdoor curved sofa from our very popular upholstery collection, FIZZ, available in a variety of Sunbrella fabrics or in C.O.M. [ customer’s own material ].
Each material palette used in the new Provenance Signature Collection by Laura Muller for Seasonal Living® has been
chosen for the easiest care possible, whether being used indoors or outdoors, its longevity, and its recyclability properties.
CERAMICS
Provenance Signature Collection pieces in this material include a series of occasional tables, based on the soft, natural forms found in nature. Ceramics is a material palette we are already well known for and currently offer in many colorful glazes. Our customers liken our colors to jewels, which – similar to fashion – are an affordable way to accessorize and add a dash of vibrant color to any indoor/outdoor setting.
The ceramics in the Provenance Signature Collection by Laura Muller for Seasonal Living® are based on the softer, more neutral colors found in nature: the speckled grey tint of beachside sand, the clean white of fresh linen, the slight shimmer of metallic minerals seen on a mountainside, the pale sage grey found on the gorse and wild plants seen on so many Californian coasts.
Ceramics, one of the longest lasting and easiest care materials available for indoor/outdoor furniture are made from clay and minerals, and the glazes we use are lead and chemical free and California Proposition 65 compliant.
FRP – FIBER REINFORCED POLYMERS
Fiber reinforced polymers are a material palette we are debuting for the first time. This recyclable indoor/outdoor material offers our customers easy care, longevity, strength, stability of finish, moisture resistance and ease of shipping.
This materiality choice and the design of the items in this material encompass 3 prime considerations for many of our international residential, commercial and hospitality specifiers: flexibility of configuration, designs that are very easy to care for and ease of movement between indoors and outdoors.
Some of you saw a sneak peek of the MEDITATION occasional tables, made of this material, in the rendering of the outdoor terrace area Laura designed for us as one of the 11 designers who participated in our magazine’s Luxury Virtual Designer Showhouse experience.

OUTDOOR WICKER [ HDPE ]
All weather outdoor wicker fabricated on powder coated aluminum frames, [ high density polyethylene known by its acronym, HDPE ] is the material at the core of the initial indoor/outdoor seating group Laura has designed for us, consisting of a dining chair and a lounge chair.
HDPE will not absorb moisture, rot or splinter. It is perfect for indoor/outdoor furniture where longevity, ease of use and ease of maintenance are desired.
HDPE is now in widespread use across many industries and keeps millions of pounds of consumer waste out of our landfills every year.
